Overall, we believe the higher quality areas of private credit markets – investment grade (AAA to BBB-) and crossover (BB category) – can provide attractive investment opportunities given elevated yield levels. We prefer counter-cyclical sectors, those with good pricing power and strong structural protections which, we believe, can provide more defence against current recessionary conditions.
