Fixed income investors: uncertainty spreads to the longer term

Fixed income investors are bracing for higher inflation. Yields on long-dated government bonds are rising globally, and markets are pricing in central bank rate hikes, even in the United States. At the same time, volatility remains so elevated that many hesitate to speak of a fundamental shift.
