Looking for yield in all the right places

Should investors really sell in May and go away? For equity markets, a merry May took some of the sting out of a cruel April, with the S&P 500 Index finishing the month up +5.0% and +11.3% year-to-date. While some investors might see May’s results as an opportunity to take profits and run, we believe that staying in the market — before, during and after May — is a more sound approach.
