Schroders PLC said Thursday it had agreed to a recommended 9.9 billion pound (11.4 billion euro) cash takeover by Chicago-based investment manager Nuveen, in a deal that would create one of the world’s largest wealth management platforms with nearly 2.5 trillion dollars in assets under management.
