Transfers: Jewell named CIO fundamental equities at Blackrock

Blackrock has appointed Helen Jewell as international chief investment officer for fundamental equities. A veteran with 27 years of experience across investment management, banking and research, Jewell has spent more than a decade at Blackrock, most recently as chief investment officer for fundamental equities in EMEA.

She previously held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, including deputy director of research in EMEA, and earlier worked at Deutsche Bank. Her appointment reflects a continued strengthening of leadership across Blackrock’s equity platform, which manages over 13 trillion dollars in assets.

Edmond de Rothschild AM appoints head of private markets

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has appointed Anne-Laurence Roucher as group head of private markets, reporting to chief executive Christophe Caspar. Based in Geneva, Roucher will oversee private equity, infrastructure debt and real estate investment strategies, with a focus on impact investing.

She co-founded Mirova in 2012 and served as its deputy chief executive before becoming head of private equity and natural capital in 2021. Edmond de Rothschild manages over 24 billion euro in private markets strategies.

Toudma appointed GRC leader at EY Luxembourg

EY Luxembourg has named Abdelhay Toudma as governance, risk and compliance (GRC) leader within its consulting practice. He assumed the role in January 2026, following his arrival at EY in March 2024.

Toudma brings over 25 years of international experience across banking, insurance, telecommunications and legal services, and is expected to support EY’s strategic expansion in regulatory advisory services.

Wuijster to exit as APG AM chief executive

Ronald Wuijster will step down as chief executive of APG Asset Management in September 2026 at the end of his second term. He joined APG in 2006 and became chief executive in 2018, after earlier roles including chief investment officer.

From March 2026, Alineke van den Berge-Blindenbach, currently chief operating officer and deputy chair of the management board, will take over on an interim basis. Wuijster will remain affiliated with APG for one year to focus on international regulatory cooperation.

Franck Bernay becomes CEO of Azqore

Azqore, the Lausanne-based subsidiary of Indosuez Wealth Management, has appointed Franck Bernay as chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2026. He succeeds Pierre Masclet, who becomes deputy managing director in charge of funds, technology and banking solutions at Indosuez.

Bernay joined Azqore in 2023 as deputy chief executive in charge of IT and previously held senior technology roles at Natixis, BPCE and BNP Paribas. He will lead Azqore’s strategic transformation and service offering for private banks.

Thibault Corlay joins Ancorius

Ancorius has appointed Thibault Corlay as head of corporate services. He joins the Luxembourg-based provider of fund and corporate services from Maples Group, where he was senior vice president and sat on the local management committee.

Corlay has more than 15 years of experience in fiduciary, governance and regulatory matters, particularly in private equity and securitisation. Ancorius, formerly Fiduciaire Jean-Marc Faber, was acquired by AnaCap in 2025.

Emre Akan joins Maples as tax partner

Maples has appointed Emre Akan as a partner in its Luxembourg tax group. He brings significant experience in international tax structuring for funds, asset managers and multinational corporations.

Michiel Krauss joins Sustainable Dividends

Michiel Krauss has joined Sustainable Dividends Value Fund as manager investor relations in a part-time capacity. He also holds business development roles at PCG Impact and Phenix Capital Group.
