Universal Investment: is one year really enough for T+1?

With less than a year remaining before Europe moves to T+1 settlement, market participants are entering the most critical phase of preparation. Following the US transition in 2024, Europe is scheduled to adopt the shorter settlement cycle on 11 October 2027. T+1 means that a transaction must be settled after only one trading day—instead of two days as it has been the case so far.
