Percentage of women among active fund managers declines

The share of women among active fund managers worldwide has declined over the past twelve months. This is the first decline since 2018. The decrease is particularly evident among European fund houses, with Luxembourg recording the sharpest drop. In Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, the share of female fund managers remains significantly lower than in France, Italy and Spain. “Fewer female fund managers means returns are being left on the table. That is a shame.”
