Anthropic could seek a valuation of at least two trillion dollars in an October IPO, which would put it above SpaceX’s $1.77 trillion debut and make it the most highly valued company ever at an initial public offering, the Financial Times reported. The paper said its expectations are based on conversations with half a dozen Anthropic investors, not formal guidance from the company.
Investors are betting rapid revenue growth can support the valuation despite intensifying competition, regulatory pressure and rising customer sensitivity to the cost of advanced AI models. Anthropic declined to comment to the Financial Times.
