Chart of the week: the most independent central bank thrives on dependence

Just as in politics, certain topics within the financial world are also preferably left undiscussed. A kind of artificial taboo is created, causing people who actually say things as they are to quickly be boxed in. Criticism of what is on paper the world’s most independent central bank is a good example of this.
