Chart of the week: gold does nothing, exactly as it should

“Yes, but it doesn’t generate cash flows.” Six words that regularly send shivers down my spine. They are also the words traditional investors repeat time and again to explain why they absolutely do not invest in gold. My response to them: “Dear investors, gold is not meant to generate cash flows at all.”
