In a sharp reversal of many of the patterns we saw amidst June’s disappointments, markets in July have delivered a roaring start into the second half of 2022. Both U.S. equities and U.S. Treasuries delivered strong monthly returns, setting an upbeat tune for global financial markets. For coming weeks, though, keep in mind that liquidity is seasonally low, and there are plenty of uncertainties on macroeconomics, monetary policies and geopolitics.
