The Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to send waves through global markets, as fears over long-term effects persist. In a historic move, the US announced it will release one million barrels a day into the market to help ease price pressures. The Bank of England and the US Federal Reserve (among others) both hiked interest rates, and pressure is growing on the European Central Bank to do the same.
